Spanish art of the past six decades comes to life in Fundación Juan March’s exhibition, where each work becomes a window onto the country’s changes and its cultural rhythm.
About this event
From 16 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, Fundación Juan March will present an exhibition devoted to Spanish art of the past sixty years. The exhibition spans from the 1960s to the present day and shows how the country’s art scene has changed alongside society, politics and culture.
The project includes key works in different media, from painting and sculpture to installations and video. The exhibition has been conceived not only as a historical retrospective, but also as a reflection on the exhibition format itself, the role of the museum and the aesthetic changes that have shaped Spanish art in the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st.
