From 4 June to 20 July, Malasaña once again vibrates to the rhythm of the 1980s: Palacio de Longoria opens the exhibition «La Movida, juventud y libertad. 1977-1986» - a celebration of culture, rebellion and uninhibited self-expression.
Curator Sabino Méndez has brought together rare objects from the personal archives of those who made the Spanish scene explode: Alaska y los Pegamoides, Nacha Pop, Parálisis Permanente, Hombres G, as well as Almodóvar, Colomo, Tino Casal, Carlos Berlanga and other heroes of an era for which gender boundaries did not exist. This is not nostalgia, but a whirlwind of freedom that one feels like entering again.
