“The NeverEnding Story according to Arthur Colin” Exhibition

To mark the 40th anniversary of this cult film, a new exhibition, film screenings and a talk have been organised.

Everyone knows the soundtrack to The NeverEnding Story, by the group Limahl, which plays during the flight through the clouds at the beginning of the classic family film. The story is about Bastian, who hides in his school attic to read a mysterious book. In it he reads about the conflict between the Nothing and the Kingdom of Fantasy, where the protagonist realises that he must prevent the destruction of this wonderful world.

The Centro de Arte Tomás y Valiente has prepared an exhibition to celebrate the book’s fourth anniversary, where the endearing characters will come together. As part of the “Fuenlabrada Friki” project, everyone can attend the talk “Creations, Makeup and Special Effects”, where the process of creating the characters will be explained. And the best part will be the screening of the film on its anniversary.
