In October, an exhibition dedicated to the great architect José María García de Paredes opens in Madrid.
About this event
The exhibition, which aims to explore this architect’s most emblematic works and highlight his influence on contemporary Spanish culture, will arrive in Madrid.
José María García de Paredes is known as the «architect of auditoriums». His major projects in Madrid, Granada, Murcia and the Palau de Valencia earned him this reputation. He managed to create a structure that emphasises the impact of sound.
The exhibition itself will be held at the Museo ICO, which specialises in promoting architecture as a creative artistic discipline. Thanks to previously unseen images of his most significant projects, such as the Auditorio Nacional de Música and the Colegio Mayor Aquino, we will be able to learn about four decades of the architect’s work.
