Exhibition “Jordi Socías. Breathless”

Sala Canal de Isabel II hosts an exhibition by Barcelona photographer Jordi Socías. It tells the story of his life and professional career from the mid-1970s to the present day. Jordi Socías’s aim has been to witness great personalities. He has managed to photograph Jorge Luis Borges, Paloma Picasso, Francis Ford Coppola and Ai Weiwei.

Four whole floors are brought together by carefully selected photographs, some of them particularly unique because they have not been published. The exhibition is composed of universal figures and unknown creatures, yet they are woven together in a similar way in street settings in great cities.

The exhibition includes a wide range of newspaper covers and the interiors of magazines and books with which Socías is associated.

To mark this exhibition, photographer Lisbeth Salas offers workshops in which you will learn the techniques of photographic composition and lighting using your mobile phone.
