Exhibition «Instante eterno en el jardín»

The CentroCentro cultural space opens the doors to a new exhibition that turns the garden into an emotional, symbolic and profoundly human territory. From 10 July to 16 November, the exhibition brings together sculptures, installations and paintings by three essential figures in contemporary Spanish art: Cristina Almodóvar, Chus García-Fraile and Daniel Verbis. Curated by Lola Durán Úcar, the route invites visitors to immerse themselves in a sensory and contemplative experience.

Far from the idea of the garden as a mere refuge, the exhibition presents it as a map of desire, beauty and transformation. Here, the fragility of the natural and the intimate, the sublime and the everyday coexist in a constant dialogue between the human and the vegetal. The exhibition proposes a necessary pause in the face of the dizzying pace of the modern world, an invitation to look inward through art. Cristina Almodóvar’s organic sculptures evoke the ephemeral and delicate, while Chus García-Fraile’s installations reflect on the symbols and artificiality of contemporary nature. Daniel Verbis, meanwhile, contributes a chromatic and emotional universe through paintings that overflow the material and conceptual.

This «emotional garden» is not only a place of harmony, but also of tensions and contradictions. Through references to paradise, utopia and decay, the exhibition creates a space that is at once introspective and universal. A poetic proposal seeking to reconnect with what is essential, appealing to the viewer’s senses, memory and imagination.
