Exhibition «Il Pugilatore. A Giant of Mont’e Prama from Sardinia to the Museo Arqueológico Nacional»

About this event
The Museo Arqueológico Nacional is celebrating its tenth anniversary following its renovation, as well as the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the Montemartano monument. On this occasion, Spain and Italy have joined forces to pay tribute to the preservation of cultural heritage. Until January, visitors will have the unique opportunity to view the sculpture known as «Il Pugilatore», from the aforementioned site.
The exhibition was created to remind us once again of Sardinian culture and its heritage in our country. We will be able to revisit Sardinian archaeological research, see the similarities and differences in the emergence of sculptural workshops in ancient Sardinian, Iberian or Talayotic art, and learn the meaning of Sardinian artistic heritage.
