Exhibition ‘Home Sweet Home’
In this new exhibition, domestic interiors cease to be a mere backdrop and become clues from which the artist reconstructs the hidden life of space.

At Casa de Vacas, from 2 to 26 July, an exhibition by Ecuadorian artist Bryan Bucheli will be presented, addressing the subject of everyday interiors and how perceptions of identity and social space are formed through them.
The exhibition brings together 22 works created from the artist's personal experience, including his work in domestic service. The project's starting point is observation of the domestic environment, not as a backdrop but as a system in which work, status and visual expectations intersect.
In his paintings, Bucheli captures the contrast between the outward ‘perfection’ of interiors and the hidden everyday work that maintains their order. This gap becomes the basis for an artistic enquiry in which painting is not only a means of representation, but also a tool for analysing social structures.
The project ‘Home Sweet Home’ continues this line: the artist sees objects as bearers of hidden experiences and stories, creating a kind of ‘unofficial archive’ of everyday life.
