National Geographic «Sports Stories» exhibition

«National Geographic Sports Stories» is on display at Parque del Retiro until December. It is a unique selection of 82 unpublished portraits of athletes captured by photographers over more than one hundred years. The exhibition invites everyone to take a journey through time and to “look beyond the limit”.

The exhibition is organised by National Geographic, one of the largest organisations whose aim is to illuminate and protect the wonders of our world through the power of science. The organisation actively supports an international community of explorers, scientists, photographers and ecologists, and makes an invaluable contribution to the study of human societies and their interaction with the environment.

In the portraits, we can see moving moments, as well as fleeting emotions of happiness and belonging. Each photograph contains a story in which you can learn about love of sport, camaraderie and spirit.
