About this event
«Hello Everyone», a large-scale installation by Laia Estruch spanning more than a decade of her artistic career, is on show at the Museo Reina Sofía until 1 September. It is not merely an exhibition, but a living sound and visual system in which sculptures, audio, video, graphics and scores form a vibrant archive of her work.
Estruch works with the voice as material: not as speech, but as a bodily instrument that shapes space. Her vocal compositions are performed inside sculptural structures designed specifically for these performances.
The project oscillates between retrospective and archive. There is no usual finality here, but traces of rehearsals, activations and living presence, even when the artist herself is absent. Bodies — hers, those of her collaborators and those of the audience — remain the central medium, turning the exhibition into a study of form, memory and sound.
