Exhibition “Fotosíntesis atlántica”

At the Real Jardín Botánico, from 15 January to 22 March, Fernando Carballa's exhibition “Fotosíntesis atlántica” will open. The artist explores the impact of progress and industry on Galicia's marine ecosystems, creating works from algae, mollusc shells and other organic materials. The exhibition turns nature into the protagonist, placing it above the artificial, and highlights the beauty, textures and sustainability of Atlantic marine flora. Carballa's project proposes seeing the organic in a new light and reminds us of the need to care for and value nature.
