‘Flora Humilis’ exhibition

The exhibition includes 60 photographs that capture the flowers of plants growing in the ditches along rural roads. The exhibition focuses on what is known as ‘humble flora’, or Flora humilis. It is a concept that reflects the beauty of simple, unassuming plants.

The term humilis means ‘modest’, ‘simple’ and ‘unassuming’ in Latin. Joaquín del Valle’s works show the elegance and uniqueness of flora that often goes unnoticed, revealing to the viewer a world of natural perfection in the most ordinary corners.
