Exhibition ‘Fardo. Andrea Canepa’

This work is presented in Madrid on the temporary covering of the Palacio de Cristal, in Retiro Park. The project, which will be open to the public until 1 January 2027, transforms the building's façades into a visual praxinoscope: textile compositions and cyclical images are revealed and concealed as visitors walk around the palace.

Canepa explores how objects and spaces construct memory and collective identity, combining art, history and anthropology. Through colour, the play of scales and the reinterpretation of cultural codes, the installation invites viewers to rediscover the connection between past and present, between contemporary urban space and ancestral rituals.
