Exhibition of works by El Greco at the Prado

Museo del Prado presents a unique exhibition, open until 15 June, bringing together eight works by El Greco for the first time in almost 200 years. These paintings, created for the monastery of Santo Domingo el Antiguo in Toledo, have been brought together again thanks to patronage. The Assumption of the Virgin Mary stands out, around which other works are arranged, such as The Adoration of the Shepherds and The Resurrection. These works, once separated, are now reunited at the Prado, offering a unique opportunity to contemplate the mastery of the great artist in its entirety.
