‘Experimento IMAGINA’ exhibition

Until the last day of March, you can visit the free exhibition ‘Experimento IMAGINA’. You can see 49 images taken by 16 photographers, curated by Professor Jesús Segura. The photographs are divided into three categories: ‘Ecology of the Image’, ‘Social Critic’ and ‘Collective Memory’.

The exhibition ‘Ecology of the Image’ explores the complex relationship between actors and their environment. The second, ‘Social Critique’, brings together a series of images that will make you reflect on the relationship between society and the problems of reality. In the ‘Collective Memory’ category, you will see photographs that reflect collective memory in a setting of shared history, culture and tradition.

The first World Exhibition took place in Seville in 1992. As part of the project, the photographers created the ‘IMAGINA’ programme. Its aim was to position photography as a cultural reference, a reflection of freedom. Today, Experimento IMAGINA brings together leading figures in national and international photography such as Uca Lile, Cristina García Rodero, Manuel Fálces, Carlos Pérez Siquier, Sarah Moon, Sibylla Bergemann, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Martin Parr.
