Exhibition ‘This Could Be the Place’

This exhibition brings together works from different disciplines, including theatre and dance, which are key elements of the programmes at Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque. The works in the exhibition share a common thread: the body and performative gesture as the basis of creativity. The body becomes an instrument of transformation and the work itself.

Attention focuses on live art, whose boundaries with other art forms become blurred. Voices, gestures, traces of action, stage and film works, and the movements of visitors that activate the exhibitions are brought together in a single space.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between disciplines, reflecting contemporaneity. Entitled The Sound of the Eye Brushing Past, the exhibition proposes perceiving the world not only through sight, but also through the body and voice. Its title remains open: ‘Could this be the place?’.
