About this event
Nature has always been an important part of every society, including Greek society, in all eras. Visitors will be able to take a guided tour of the National Archaeological Museum that will transport them into the mythical imagination through images accompanied by the voice of classical texts.
The exhibition celebrates the 10th anniversary of the opening of MAN and the acquisition of the Marquis of Salamanca's collection of antiquities in 1874. In it, we can enjoy more than 100 works showing us the importance of the Mediterranean triad: wheat, vine and wood. We can stroll through gardens, learn about brews and potions, and discover the belief in the Afterlife, which for the ancient Greeks was a fertile place where Eros was nature's generative and eternal impulse.
