About this event
The exhibition is a kind of dialogue between Juan Navarro Baldeweg and Rita Ponce de León. Its aim is to prompt reflection on the question of gravity in the place where we live. Gravity is represented here in various ways. For example, the sculpture «Aro de oro» is overloaded with lead, producing an effect of displacement of the centre of gravity. One has the sensation that it swings upwards. But in «Espíritu del sueño», an effect of emotional attraction is created, because poetic and musical themes are combined here in the form of a siphon.
The exhibition and the gallery itself create the sensation that we seem to step out of gravity and enter a new world.
