Exhibition «Inside the Sky»

This is an important exhibition that highlights the pre-Hispanic perspectives behind the Western world. Twelve artists come together in this exhibition to create a unique show.

Some of the most striking works include El Enjoyado, by Teresa Margolles. It depicts a man dressed in jewellery made from the remains of criminal gangs shot in Mexico. Another striking work is «Library of Anarchism and Anarchists», by Juan Pablo Macías. It is a series of e-books about anarchism which have been downloaded and bound with sandpaper covers, once again highlighting the friction between institutions and art. The works in this exhibition come from the private collection of Lorena Pérez-Jácome and Javier Lumbreras. Thanks to this, we can contemplate notable masterpieces from the pre-colonial era.
