The Museo del Prado presents “El Prado en femenino III”, an exhibition that explores the decisive influence of women on 18th-century art history. The exhibition, which will remain open until 24 May, highlights Isabel de Farnesio, whose love of collecting made a fundamental contribution to forming the collections that now define the museum.
The exhibition combines portraits, documents and selected works to show how these queens and patrons not only decorated palaces, but also defined the taste and aesthetics of their time, leaving a legacy that still inspires the Prado. Curated by Noelia García Pérez, the exhibition offers a journey in which history and art intertwine, celebrating women's vision and creative power in Spanish culture.
