Exhibition «The Berlin Wall. A Divided World»
Have a unique experience and travel back to the Cold War era. Previously unseen testimonies, barbed wire and other objects will tell the story of the inhabitants of the divided city and take you back to the Cold War era.

«The Berlin Wall. A Divided World» shows the sad history of the Cold War era. A time when capitalism was in conflict with communism, when the world was on the brink of nuclear annihilation. The Berlin Wall fell on 9 November 1989, but the consequences still endure today.
The exhibition will feature more than 300 original objects and testimonies from citizens on both sides of the Berlin Wall. More than a third come directly from the archives of the Berlin Wall Foundation, including 20 metres of the wall itself, the first barbed-wire fences and bricks used to build it, and objects related to escape attempts and victims. They serve as witnesses to the era and give an idea of what it was like to live in a divided city.
