«El Imperio Fan Contraataca» exhibition

At Espacio Delicias in Madrid, the exhibition «El Imperio Fan Contraataca» opens, a space where the universe assembled by fans takes shape in a major exhibition with more than 600 objects.

Here there is no usual museum division into display cases or the usual distance. The exhibition is organised as a journey through the layers of one story: life-size costumes, detailed models, figures, posters and archive photographs are found together, gathered by private collectors over decades.

Each room functions as an independent fragment of a familiar world. In some spaces, large installations and sculptures command attention; in others, small details that are normally lost in the frame become the focus of attention here. In total, more than 600 objects are presented, gathered “by fans for fans”.

The venue has interactive areas: a chroma key for photographs with themed scenes and a virtual-reality experience allowing visitors to “enter” further into the exhibition's visual universe. The visit lasts approximately one hour, the route is free-flowing and it is intended for all ages.
