About this event
At the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, twenty old paintings recover their original light and colour after meticulous conservation work. Works by Italian, Flemish and Spanish artists, such as Bellini’s «The Saviour» and Guido Reni’s «Christ Embracing the Cross», are now presented with new nuances and details that invite a close look.
The exhibition includes videos and panels that reveal the delicate process behind each intervention, showing how past and present meet in every work.
