Exhibition «The architect Rodolfo García-Pablos at the Archbishop’s Palace of Alcalá (1943–1948)»

The Museo Arqueológico y Paleontológico de la Comunidad de Madrid presents the exhibition «The architect Rodolfo García-Pablos at the Archbishop’s Palace of Alcalá (1943–1948)», available until 26 October 2025. This exhibition offers a detailed view of the restoration process carried out by García-Pablos after the devastating 1939 fire that affected the historic palace. Through photographs, plans and documents from the period, visitors will be able to appreciate the meticulous work undertaken to restore the splendour of this emblematic Renaissance building. Admission is free and the exhibition is in the temporary exhibition hall on the museum’s first floor.
