At CaixaForum Madrid, you can take a historical journey to prehistory and explore the fascinating world of the dinosaurs that inhabited southern South America.
The Museo Egidio Feruglio de Trelew has created a striking exhibition highlighting the main dinosaur species found in Patagonia: from imposing sauropods such as Patagotitan majorum to the agile, fierce predators that hunted in these ancient ecosystems. Each section reveals the evolutionary adaptations and morphological changes that enabled these giant reptiles to thrive for millions of years.
Everyone will be able to see 15 dinosaur skeleton casts reproduced with meticulous precision from the original fossils. These skeletons bear witness to evolution and allow scientists to study changes in the fossil record.
In addition to the exhibitions, educational events have been organised for all ages, where young explorers can immerse themselves in the world of palaeontology through hands-on activities, and adults can attend guided tours offering an expert perspective on the discoveries and research process behind the exhibition.
