Exhibition “Letters of Columbus. America in the House of Alba”

A unique exhibition will open its doors at Liria Palace with pieces of incredible historical value. Now, anyone who crosses the palace gates will be able to enter an exclusive library to see with their own eyes some of Columbus’s letters and other treasures that hold memories of the American heritage.

The exhibition will bring together documents, pre-Columbian and viceregal objects, and unique portraits. In total, around 150 objects will be on display, including 24 autograph letters by Columbus. Thanks to them, we will be able to learn the details of the navigator’s expeditions, his relationship with the king and queen, and the secrets of his personal life.
