Madrid City Council nativity scene

From 28 November to 4 January, CentroCentro will present an impressive Christmas nativity scene by master José Luis Mayo. More than 200 figures, 20 miniature buildings and elements of nature come to life in a two-level circular space, creating a 360° full-view effect.

Visitors will be able to follow scenes of Christmas: the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary, José and María’s search for shelter, shepherds beneath the stars, the arrival of the Three Wise Men and the flight into Egypt beside a waterfall and a lake. Mayo Lebrija, a sculptor from Toledo, is known for his historical precision and high artistic level, turning each scene into a small work of art.
