How can care, strength of spirit and aesthetic abilities be expressed with a needle and thread? The exhibition gives us the answer to this question, taking us into the world of traditional Korean sewing, where each piece contains the history, symbolism and character of the women of Joseon.

The Korean Cultural Centre in Spain invites you to the exhibition «Korean Craftsmanship and Women» at Galería Han-ul until 16 May.
The exhibition is dedicated to gyubang, a tradition of women's craftsmanship that dates back to the Joseon dynasty. It is a unique expression of Korean culture, in which women created embroidery and exclusively domestic products, investing in them not only skill but also symbolism: health, longevity and prosperity.
Each product is not merely a household object, but also a reflection of a woman's inner world and virtues: patience, sincerity and a sense of beauty. P.º de la Castellana, 15
