Exhibition “Anders Zorn. Travel the World, Remember the Land”
Madrid will offer a unique opportunity to see how an artist combined the light of Paris, the luxury of the United States and the quiet everyday life of Sweden in Anders Zorn’s painting.

Fundación MAPFRE will exhibit in Madrid the works of Anders Zorn, one of the most outstanding artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The exhibition covers the key stages of his career: from his early watercolours to his mature works, created in Paris, London and the United States, as well as scenes of life in his native Sweden. The rooms bring together portraits, landscapes and nudes, including works painted in Spain.
Special attention is paid to Zorn’s relationship with Joaquín Sorolla, an artistic dialogue that brought together Swedish and Spanish painting in the early 20th century.
