«Alberto Greco. Long live living art» exhibition
The Alberto Greco retrospective has opened at Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, where everyday life is transformed into living art.
About this event
From 11 February to 8 June, the exhibition traces Greco's work between 1949 and 1965: paintings, collages, objets vivants, actions and his novel Besos brujos. The central axis is «living art», in which people, cities and chance events become artistic material.
Special attention is given to his period in Spain from 1963 and his international practice across Latin America, Europe and the United States. The exhibition conveys the spirit of adventure and bold experimentation that defined his career, where life and art intertwine completely.
