Fundación Montemadrid celebrates the 25th anniversary of the «Generaciones» competition with a series of four exhibitions about its history, its impact on art and its legacy.
Since its creation, the competition has become an important platform for Spanish artists, attracting more than 18,000 participants over the years, including Eva Fábregas, June Crespo, Dora García and many others.
The exhibition «24 años y un día», which will remain open until 29 June, presents more than 300 works reflecting the artistic concerns of different generations. «Generación 2025» shows the most recent projects by the winners of the anniversary edition. And «Donde volará el pájaro que no vuela», which begins on 15 May, brings together women artists from previous years, inviting them to create new works.
