Felipe II Train

Everyone will be able to feel as though they were in the 1940s and see for themselves how people travelled then. The 20th-century train begins its journey in Madrid and travels through the Sierra de Guadarrama until it reaches El Escorial.

The historic train has been specially restored so that everyone can see the locomotive and carriages from the 20th century, of great historical value, in operation. During the journey, everyone will be able to discover the eight-seat carriages, their finishes, their incredibly large windows and their period details. It will be a genuine journey through time, in which even the ticket inspectors will wear historically reconstructed uniforms.

The ticket for the journey itself includes, in addition to the train, entry to the monuments of El Escorial and panoramic visits.
