Tour “Urban art tour with a local graffiti hunter”
A new route in Madrid takes in Lavapiés and the capital's neighbouring districts to introduce interested visitors to the urban art found directly on the walls of the city's houses and buildings.

The route passes through Lavapiés, Embajadores and La Latina, showing Madrid's urban art in its usual setting: on the walls of houses, in courtyards and on the city's façades.
Here, graffiti, stencils and stickers make up a living layer of the city that is constantly renewed. One stop is the site of the former La Tabacalera tobacco factory, where urban artists' works are displayed on large walls.
The tour then heads to the Esta es una Plaza space and Sombrerete Square. In these places, works by different authors stand side by side, from experienced street artists to newcomers to the scene. The route also includes a large mural in the Centro neighbourhood.
During the walk, the guide talks about the local projects and festivals CALLE Lavapiés, Urvanity and Muros Tabacalera, as well as the spaces where open workshops and urban initiatives are held.
