Tour ‘Mujeres Singulares’

This weekend, Madrid’s history is not read in museums, but among the avenues of La Almudena Cemetery, where free guided tours dedicated to the women who left their mark on the city’s life will take place.\n\nThe route, entitled Mujeres Singulares, has been prepared by the municipal funeral services for International Women’s Day and is devoted to the stories of women connected with the capital’s culture, science and public life. The walk lasts approximately an hour and a half and goes along the avenues of Madrid’s largest cemetery, where behind the gravestones lie the stories of the people who shaped the city.\n\nParticipation is free, but prior registration on the website is required, as the number of places is limited.
