Museo Cerralbo invites visitors to tour the rooms of the palace to hear the story not of the collections, but of the women who lived and worked there every day.

On 20 March, Museo Cerralbo will offer a special tour entitled ‘Women at the Cerralbo’, on the occasion of Women’s Month. It is an alternative tour through the rooms of the palace, in which the focus will not be the collections, but the people and their stories.
During the visit, the marchionesses Inocencia and Amelia, their guests and the women who worked in the household will be discussed, those who shaped the everyday life of the mansion. The tour offers a look at the history of the museum through personal accounts: who these women were, what place they occupied and what mark they left.
