Creative pumpkin lamp workshop
On Sunday 26 October 2025 at 11:00, young children will be able to enjoy a very special workshop in Madrid organised by El Bancal Agroarte, where they will learn to transform pumpkins into autumn lamps while discovering the importance of caring for the natural environment.
About this event
Aimed at girls and boys aged between 5 and 9, this workshop offers a playful, sensory approach to traditional knowledge of harvesting and using natural materials. Participants will hollow out their pumpkins, keep the seeds and pulp to cook at home and, with the skin, create a luminous creation reminiscent of autumn forests. All this accompanied by an adult, at a symbolic price of 3 euros.
El Bancal, a cultural association that has combined agroecology, art and respectful pedagogy since 2010, will deliver this experience, which forms part of the autumn family activities programme. An ideal occasion to share time as a family, recover traditions and enjoy creativity linked to nature. Tickets will be available from 9 October at 12:00.
