Children’s workshop ‘Guess What I’m Reading This Morning’

On 25 April, there will be an activity for families with children in which reading is presented as a game with clues and recognisable plots.

The focus of the gathering will be Carmen García Iglesias’s book ‘Guess What I’m Going to Read Tonight’. In it, different animals talk about the books they ‘read’, and participants are invited to guess well-known children’s works from the descriptions.

Thus, from a panda’s tale about a red-haired girl who lives with a spotted horse, you have to guess that it is ‘Pippi Longstocking’. There are thirty literary riddles of this kind in total, and each is related to a classic of children’s and young adult literature.

After the game, participants will make their own book, creating a story from invented images and plots.
