Gran Teatro Pavón hosts I Survived Love in the 90s, a musical comedy that invites audiences back to a time when love stories began with landline calls, cassette tapes and face-to-face meetings.
The play combines monologue, live songs and everyday situations to portray, with plenty of humour, how relationships were lived before the digital era. Blind dates, jealousy, endless waits by the telephone and other generational memories provide the starting point for a show designed for those who grew up in that decade and for those who want to discover what falling in love was like without social networks.
Created by the team behind El Monólogo de los 80s y 90s, the production mixes nostalgia and comedy in a proposal where the audience can also relive some of the great musical hits that marked those years.
