The Fernán Gómez cultural centre premieres «Vincent River», a play by British playwright Philip Ridley. The play unfolds in real time and tells the story of a chance encounter between Davey, a young man shaken by a vision, and Anita, a woman forced to leave her home. Their encounter becomes the beginning of a dizzying journey towards discovering Vincent’s tragic fate.
Director Pilar Massa, together with Eduardo Gallo, creates a drama that combines live action, emotional tension and black humour. The play balances the cruel and the poetic, explores the consequences of hate and shows that only through honesty and sincerity can the path to redemption be found.
