Show “Journey to the Limit”

At Teatro Español, until 8 June, Luis Martín-Santos's existential drama, directed by Eduardo Vasco, will be performed to mark the centenary of the writer's birth.

The action is set in 1950s Spain, in a house where unspoken grievances, fear, longing and a thirst for change boil under the same roof. An authoritarian father marked by the past, a mother who lives in the shadow of unfulfilled desires, and children who dream of escaping their family setting find themselves at the edge of what is possible.

This is not merely a drama about family, but each character's inner journey through fear, guilt and loneliness towards freedom and a true self.
