Until 30 March, CaixaForum becomes the setting for the distinctive musical show «Up & Jazz». Four strangers are trapped in a hotel lift, but quickly find a common language: their love of jazz unites them. The forced confinement becomes a charming journey through the history of the genre, with compositions by Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and other legends.
The musicians skilfully weave humour and spontaneity into jazz rhythms, demonstrating that this genre is not only an art, but also a game full of freedom and improvisation. Talented artists are responsible for the live sound: keyboardist Asier Olabarrieta, saxophonist Andreu Domenech, double bassist Arnau Prats and the versatile Annais Bernat, singer, actress and dancer.
