From 15 August 2025 to 28 June 2026, Luis Merlo, Natalia Millán, Juanan Lumbreras and Clara Sanchis will play two married couples who sit down to discuss an incident involving their nine-year-old children. The starting point is simple: a civilised conversation to avoid drama. But as the words sharpen and the smiles stiffen, the meeting turns into a duel loaded with sarcasm, accusations and uncomfortable truths. Beneath the guise of a light comedy, French author Yasmina Reza draws a biting portrait of competitiveness, education and the underlying violence we all carry.
The play, already applauded on international stages by figures such as Isabelle Huppert and Ralph Fiennes, promises a mix of laughter and unease in Madrid, reminding us that sometimes a small spark is enough for the savage god inside us all to emerge.
