Show «Triana y Medea»
Two emblematic Spanish ballet productions will share the stage this summer: the Ballet Nacional de España will present an evening in Madrid dedicated to the work of choreographer José Granero.

From 11 to 22 July, the Teatro de la Zarzuela will host a double bill comprising Triana y Medea. Both choreographies, created by José Granero, show two very different ways of understanding flamenco as a stage language.
The first takes the audience to the Seville district of Triana, where music, dance and everyday life become the focus of a tribute to Andalusian popular culture. The second draws on the Greek myth of Medea to reinterpret a story of love, betrayal and revenge through the expressive power of flamenco.
The two choreographies combine dance, live music and traditional elements of Spanish culture, offering the chance to discover two of the most representative titles in the repertoire of the Ballet Nacional de España.
