The «Titerescena» performance series

Madrid hosts the Titerescena 2025–2026 series, dedicated to puppet theatre and theatre workshops for children and adults. Until June, string puppets, glove puppets and unusual objects come to life on stage, sometimes with live music, creating unexpected stories and surprising effects.

The season’s programme includes productions from Spanish and international theatres: from pantomime and bunraku theatre to tabletop puppets and visual theatre. Performances include the adventures of the little penguin in Bobo, the interactive installation Biblioteca de cuerdas y nudos, the award-winning productions Las Cotton y Tormenta, as well as the adaptation of the classic El mago de Oz.
