Teatro y Música La Antigua Mina Theatre and Music Festival

Until the end of August, Madrid will host a unique music and theatre festival in an old mine. Madrid residents will have the opportunity to enjoy more than 30 shows. And all of this thanks to the sixteenth edition of the «Teatro y Música La Antigua Mina» festival. Classical plays, monologues, dance, flamenco and comedy will be performed on the improvised stage.

The season will open with a symphonic concert featuring orchestral arrangements of pop and rock classics. The programme will include soundtracks by the celebrated John Williams; a choral and rock concert; a performance of La comedia Masterchef en la cocina by Arnold Wester; Ocho mujeres; Celestina, by Francisco de Rojas; Un flamenco al piano, a dance show, Bailando por el mundo and Beatles4U, a tribute to the most significant rock band of all time.
