Where does theatre end and spectacle begin? That is the question posed by SQUIRT: The Las Vegas Show, the production arriving in Madrid this summer.

On 20 July, Teatro Calderón will host SQUIRT: The Las Vegas Show, a production inspired by the aesthetic of the great Las Vegas shows. Instead of a conventional theatrical narrative, the audience will encounter a succession of stage numbers in which dance, acrobatics, music, water and lighting are integrated into a single staging.
Each act is conceived as an independent visual episode, where bodily expressiveness, choreography and contemporary stage resources create an atmosphere in constant transformation. The production also includes interactive moments that invite the audience to become part of the experience.
Aimed at an adult audience, the show embraces a different way of understanding theatre: a production in which movement, visual force and emotional impact replace the central role of dialogue and create a stage experience of great intensity.
