Immersive show “Rome: Forbidden Fights”

This summer in Madrid, there will be an opportunity to travel to another era for one night. The Zarzuela racecourse is preparing the immersive show Rome: Forbidden Fights, where, instead of conventional theatre, spectators can expect live action unfolding around them.

The space will be transformed into the world of the Roman Empire, with its tension, rituals and strict rules. At the centre of the story will be the fights and the heroes’ destinies, which can be observed not from outside but almost from within. The atmosphere will be completed by details recreating everyday life, from the camp to objects that seem taken from the past.
