Until 21 December, Teatro Infanta Isabel hosts a contemporary version of Richard III directed by Argentina’s Nicolás Pérez Costa. The work places the plot in a surprising dystopian universe, where ambition, betrayals and envy unfold through unconventional visual and sound language.
The leads, Pérez Costa, Goizalde Núñez and Ana Belén Beas, bring to life intense characters, shaped by passion, violence and the struggle for power. The staging combines non-traditional percussion and emotion-charged performances, immersing audiences in a dramatic, sensory world.
As a complement, before each performance the immersive exhibition “The Shakespeare Experience” is presented, allowing audiences to explore the playwright’s universe and prepare for a unique theatrical experience.
