Show “Primera cita”

The comedy about the world of dating, created by Patrick Hernáindez and Enver Retzepović, has been on Paris stages for several years, and is now also enjoying a new run in Madrid. The comedy “Primera cita” will be on at Teatro Muñoz Seca until 2 November.

In the play, which has become a genuine phenomenon on the French theatre scene, the story of a woman tired of men’s manipulation takes an unexpected turn. Alongside a friend, she decides to go on an ordinary date, but everything changes when the romantic Lorenzo, who is looking for true love, enters her life.

Directed by Tuti Fernández and starring the talented Ana del Arco, Pedro Llas and Ana Hastings, this play turns every moment into an outpouring of humour and witty jokes. The play raises questions about love in the age of social media, showing how feelings can be at once bold, absurd and incredibly real.
