In Madrid, Teatros Luchana is once again staging «The Open Couple», one of Darío Fo's most famous works, written in collaboration with Franca Rame. The play combines satire, black humour and absurd situations to tell the story of a modern couple: conflicts, misunderstandings and the hidden manifestations of sexism even in the most liberal relationships.
With comic scenes and unexpected situations serving as a backdrop, the play explores serious themes such as disappointment in marriage and the search for personal freedom.
